If you've been tuning in you'll have heard my computer's endless screw ups- it takes 10 minutes to start, beeps and whirrs, and threatens to shut down at any time... and so I figured time to whip out the i pod. Worked pretty well.
I've got to mad rep King Lychee from back home, they just came out with a video for a song on their new album which came out like a week ago. Pretty much all of the band's music comes in both Chinese and English, something that I think is super respectable and makes their message more accessible. King Lychee is from Hong Kong. At this point, it looks like we could be entering into what might be the last season of Dungbeetle Radio for a while. I graduate in June, and from there on life is up in the air. As of right now, I'd like to keep Dungbeetle alive- my weekend spent in Laguna, Philippines reminded me of how much I need something like this in my life. I think I'd like to get into zine making in the near future.
Picked up a copy of Tight End #2 at the Railroad Records Year Opener Show- thoroughly enjoyed it because it had a range interviews from all over (Second Combat in Malaysia to True Colors in Belgium), yet also kept up on the scene in the Philippines.
